Our story began on November 7th, 2021 at the wedding of mutual friends from ETSU (hence the title). Although we had many mutual friends, Ryan was only an infamous BYX brother that Haley had never met and Ryan didn't know she existed. After meeting, they never stopped hanging out or talking and it did not take long for things to get serious. Ryan took Haley to a special sunset spot in his hometown to make it official on April 7th, 2022.

Haley graduated in May of 2022 and they started doing long distance. They thought they loved each other before, but spending so much time apart made the time together sweeter and solidified their commitment. While dating, Ryan and Haley shared in some of the best moments and some of the lowest moments of their lives. It was hard to experience such deep things in the early stages of a relationship but their relentless pursuit of God and each other assured them that their love will stand the test of time.

Ryan proposed on November 7th, 2023 two years after they met. It was the sweetest, intimate moment overlooking the lake and the mountains. Haley was so excited she couldn't even let him get the words out before she said "YES"!!

Now they are enjoying the engagement season, anxiously awaiting September 7th and forever!!
